Overall English Alpine Champions Crowned.
The final day of the English Alpine Ski Championships concluded with a busy day of racing for all age groups, culminating in the crowning of six overall English Alpine Champions.

On day five of the English Alpine Ski Championships the sun returned to the slopes of Bormio for the FIS Super Combined (which also counted to towards the English Championships Super G titles), while the Under 12s and Under 10s tackled a fun Combi race on the Stella Alpina piste.

Day four of the English Alpine Ski Championships saw six athletes crowned English Champions as the action continued on the snowy slopes of Bormio with a FIS Giant Slalom and an Under 16/14 Super G.

Day three of the English Alpine Ski Championships saw 168 athletes tackle the FIS NJR Giant Slalom on the Stella Alpina race piste, with the Under 16 and Under 14 racers taking on the first of two Super G races of the Championships on the Stelvio piste.

Day two of the English Alpine Ski Championships was blessed with clear blue skis and good snow conditions as the racers tackled a FIS Slalom and the Under 12 & Under 10s raced three runs of a Giant Slalom.
Action kicks off at English Alpine Championships 2016 in Bormio
The English Alpine Ski Championships kicked off in style on Valentine’s Day in Bormio, with a record number of entries and some impressive skiing in the FIS National Junior Slalom and Under 16 & Under 14 Giant Slalom.
Leaving from Via Roma, the Parade will start at 4pm, This will lead everyone into the town square in preparation for a welcome speech by the mayor which will be accompanied by welcome drinks for all. Come along - it is a great way to start the week.
In another exciting new development, this year we will be running trials of 'live timing' for our races, in partnership with skiresults.co.uk. 2016 will be the 20th English Alpine Championships
Building on the success of previous years, the English Alpine Championship 2016 returns to Bormio, Italy for the ninth year in succession. The competition begins with the Opening Ceremony on Saturday February 13th, followed by a full six day programme of races finish on Friday 19th February.
